Listening sessions

During the past few weeks, groups from O—Overgaden’s local community and from the Danish Association of the Blind have been visiting to join us in conversations about the so-called “phantom words” featured in Alexander Tillegreen’s exhibition and sound research. With sessions like this, O—Overgaden is reaching out to the local community hoping to initiate more conversations and include a diverse range of guests and voices in the house.
Often, the words we hear will resonate with our cultural and linguistic background, our subconscious mind, and our individual experience. In the exhibition by Alexander Tillegreen, you could experience and discuss this "phamtom word" phenomenon, which paints a larger picture of how we each decode reality based on our various backgrounds.
