When medicine alone can’t heal psychological wounds, then what can? Join us at O—Overgaden on Friday 12 January, 4–6pm, for a soft landing in the new year with an afternoon of poetry readings alongside artworks by Anna Sofie Mathiasen, shining a light on the healing potential of art.

With readings by authors Anne-Louise Bosmans, Glenn Christian, Kaj Vorobeva and presentation by artist Anna Sofie Mathiasen.

The event is arranged by O—Overgaden and Center for Kunst og Mental Sundhed on the occasion of Anna Sofie Mathiasen’s current exhibition Folly at O—Overgaden (on show through 28 January 2024). Folly deals with mental health and gardens as healing places, through animation films, large-scale drawings, sculpture, and numerous textual references.
