The event will include a conversation between visual artist Kamil Dossar and Mads K. Mikkelsen, Head of Programme at CPH:DOX – Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, following a screening of Dossar’s new rough cut of film material from the exhibition. The evening will also feature a reading by author Lone Aburas, who will read from her “akuttekst” FRISK FORDÆV, as well as a presentation about Dossar’s exhibition by Xenia Brown Pallesen, researcher in art history at the University of Copenhagen.

Mads K. Mikkelsen is Head of Programme at CPH:DOX – Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival. He is co-organizer of the nomadic cinema Terrassen, teaches film history at the Danish Film School, and regularly contributes to local and international film magazines. He is also the author of a book on interventionist film art.
Lone Aburas made her debut with the novel Føtexsøen in 2009 and has since published four novels and three poetry collections including, most recently, the long poem FRISK FORDÆV in 2025.
Xenia Brown Pallesen is a PhD fellow in art history at the University of Copenhagen. Her research investigates the potential of participatory mediation practices to expand the frameworks for how and by whom contemporary art is interpreted.
Kamil Dossar graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (2024) and lives and works in Copenhagen. Dossar’s solo exhibition at O—Overgaden marks the culmination of his participation in the one-year collaborative program INTRO 2025, supported by the Louis-Hansen Foundation.
