Sara Sjölin (b. 1991, SE) is a visual artist working between Berlin and Copenhagen. She graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (2018), and has shown works at venues including Nørrebro Theatre, Copenhagen (2026); HALLEN, Copenhagen (2026); Stooj Fine Arts, Berlin (2026); MAXXI, Rome (2025); Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art, Copenhagen (2025); SIMIAN, Copenhagen (2025); Etablissement d’en Face, Brussels (2025); UnionDocs, New York (2025); Candyland, Stockholm (2025); and Lagune Ouest, Copenhagen (2024)

Sjölin received the Niels Wessel Bagge Art Foundation Honorary Grant in 2022 and the Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Talent Prize in 2024. She has been an Artist in Residence at the Danish Institute in Rome (2023) and at ISCP in New York (2024). The exhibition at O—Overgaden is Sara Sjölin’s first institutional solo show.
