WORKING WHILE DISABLED ~ Workshop with Anna Walther and Tone Ottilie

Join us on Thursday 22 October, 4–6pm, at Islands Brygges Kulturhus, when visual artist Anna Walther and writer Tone Ottilie invite you to the workshop WORKING WHILE DISABLED as part of the group exhibition IN PROTEST AND IN CARE.
WORKING WHILE DISABLED is a workshop in which we explore the lived reality of having a disability and working. We will imagine possible and better futures, we will channel our anger and, at the end, we will share some crip wisdom and hacks with each other. Disability and work—whether creative work, manual work, emotional work, self-care work, or simply the administrative work of staying alive—is a complicated field for us. We want to take the chance to get together as crips and talk about it.
The workshop is centered around disabled experiences, which we understand in terms of both physical, sensory, and mental disabilities being ill, being mad, and/or being neurodivergent. If you identify as disabled in any way, you are welcome. You do not have to work in a capitalist sense to take part in the workshop.
Participation is free, but places are limited, so registration is required. Please register via this link:
