PICNIC ~ Elisabeth Molin
Join us on Saturday 29 August, 5–6pm, when visual artist Elisabeth Molin invites you to PICNIC at Arnestedet, one of the two pavilions in Enghaveparken, as part of the opening of the group exhibition IN PROTEST AND IN CARE. It is also possible to participate online.
PICNIC is a nomadic platform for artists who write as part of their practice. The platform grew out of a need to create a community among artists who work with text and writing, and to create a space for listening and experimenting with words.
Through readings, PICNIC explores how texts can inscribe themselves into and materialize in a space, and how the voice can be a way of inhabiting a space. The readings usually take place in exhibition spaces, bookshops, and parks, and engage with the themes that shape the spaces and exhibitions in which they take place.
This edition of PICNIC relates to IN PROTEST AND IN CARE and starts from themes of transformation and transition. Elisabeth Molin has invited artists who write from situated perspectives and embodied experiences to share their texts in this context.

Everyone is welcome and participation is free. The pavilions in Enghaveparken are step-free and have direct access to the park. Homemade iced tea will be served to those attending in person.
The readings will be amplified outside the pavilion, and folding chairs will also be set up, making it possible to participate from the park if you prefer not to sit inside the smaller pavilion.
