The Union Talks: Centralizing the Black Body on Stage
The Union’s talk in the exhibition No History at All by Dina El Kaisy Friemuth at O—Overgaden will this evening host the conversation between two amazing artists and important voices: actress Marie-Lydie Nokouda and interdisciplinary performance artist Sall Lam Toro. The talk is moderated by cultural communicator cand.mag. and editor Mai Takawira.
O—Overgaden is proud of hosting “The Union Talks,” focusing on the practices and working conditions of racialized artists and cultural workers based in Denmark. This series is part of an events program accompanying the exhibition, aiming to include nuanced perspectives on the exhibition themes. The series of conversations also mark the start of The Union’s work as a union and at every event, it will be possible to become a member of The Union and hear about their work.
