Felia Gram-Hanssen and Jaleh Negari presents Fungal Network: A special project combining visual arts and music at O—Overgaden. Please join us for the opening and their concert Saturday 26 February
The opening Saturday 2-5pm is free and open for everyone to visit.
At 3pm, Gram-Hanssen and Negari will perform a joint concert inspired by the sounds and images in the exhibition. The exhibition continues Gram-Hanssen and Negari’s previous collaborations where they – as part of the performance group Meshes – extended their band concept into different disciplines such as dance, art, and music.
Jaleh Negari (b. 1983) is a composer and drummer and has been a central part of Copenhagen’s experimental music scene for more than a decade, including playing in the bands Selvhenter and Pinkunoizu as well as being one of the founders of the artist collective Eget Værelse. Negari’s first solo record Arch Waves was released in 2016, followed by 2021’s Weaver ~, with music based on graphical scores, including those shown in this exhibition.
Felia Gram-Hanssen (b. 1983) is a drummer and trained visual artist educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Through performances and installations, she explores translations between sound, image, and movement as well as positions and power in space.
