Since the 90s, there has been a strong focus on the meeting of visual art and social practices. Today, the actors involved occupy a special position in the art field treating and challenging the structural and societal forces and mechanisms of society with new art forms, models, actions, and thought patterns in which dialogue, participation, and ownership are cornerstones. But where does critique stand today and how are the criteria that this form of art production is measured by prepared and formulated?
AICA – the Association of Danish Art Critics – invites you to an open debate with a panel of artist Kenneth A. Balfelt, editor and curator Matthias Hvass Borello, art adviser Ulrikke Neergaard and moderator Line Rosenvinge, AICA bord member.
The debate will be in Danish.
